3 posts in one day

Here are some of the christmas cards that i made this weekend.

This one is using the lovely penguin stamp from Elzybells art stamps
I think he is so cute. I have put flock on his tummy. To make the card i used white card stock. cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder. I then cut a scalloped frame using a circle punch and a scalloped circle punch. For this card i have used the snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder. white organser ribbon coloured paper. the image is again from Elzybells art stamps, she is coloured using prisma pencils and blended with sansador. I have then used diamond stickles on her wings and on the tree.

Penny Black week 20 challenge + A spoonful 0f sugar Challenge

My best friends daughter has just left home to attend uni. she asked if we could send her halloween cards, This fitted in lovely as i wanted to enter the spoon full of sugar challenge which is 'Halloween' and i have also entered the penny black challenge for the first time.
The challenge was
Bump In The Night
As Halloween is approaching we would like to see your spooky cards/projects this week.
As always it's entirely up to you what you make - card, atc, altered art etc... As long as you use at least 1 Penny Black Image.

Ihave used black card, orange bazil bling. The cuttlebug haunted house embossing folder, i also used the spider web embossing folder and then cut the web out with a craft knife, I then used distress inks to colour it. The spider was from a local supermarket (it was a ring but i cut the back off and glued it onto the card using silicone glue) The penny black image was.....kitty witch from the margaret sherry collection. This is a picture of the inside of the card, again i used black card stock. orange bazil bling, the other half of the spiders web that was used on the front of the card. The penny black image used here was "Brown bag monster" also from the margaret sherry collection.

This weeks challenge over on dotties world is set by Juliet.....
This week, I'd like you to create something on the theme 'Love is......' and I would like to see a message or journalling on the FRONT of your card. As usual, you must include one of the Dottie downloads
Well i had lots of fun with this challenge. I decided i didnt want to do couples so i twisted it a little and as i'm away from home this week i had limited resources.

I made this card whilst travelling around in darling hubbies van. so im sorry about the quality of the pictures.

The images were the ready coloured images from the rock and roll dottie and george that can be found over on charmed cards and crafts The stage was a pre colored image from the christmas collection. PP were from my mums scrap box as were the buttons and the wire. the words were printed on the computer.
