My Darling daughter has got through to the finals of The Genee. This is an international competiton, 71 candidates entered and 7 girls and 5 boys got through to the finals. I have struggled today getting tickets as karla didnt think she would get through to the finals so didnt get any in advance. But i succeded in getting 4 so my mum and dad will be able to see their beautiful granddaughter dance.
My Little girl.........Karla is the 7th lot on in the dark blue tutu's. (3 min 17seconds) She comes on from the left being thrown in the air by Bruno and is then front right, still being thrown in the air by Bruno. (she says she loves the lifts) She made me cry
I had lots of fun doing this zentangle (sounds posh doesnt it, just another word for doodling) i got the idea after visiting Milliande's youtube videos i have had a lot of insperation over the past few week thanks to Sue Roddis and Sarah Anderson who have both ran wonderfull art journaling workshops at The Cubby Hole in Crewe. I had always wanted to do something for me.. That i didnt have to make for someone else or give it away and then wonder if the other person liked it or even just appreciated how much work went into producing it. I just wanted something that i could produce using all the art stuff i had bought and only used a couple of times, and also be able to use all the wonderfull stamps that are just lying around waiting to be used. I dont want to pour my heart out for everyone to see, these two wonderfull ladies gave me the kick start that i needed and i cant thank you enough.... x x x
Anyway here is the Zentangle that i did hope you like it............
Well on saturday i went to a fantastic workshop at The Cubby Hole in Crew. We did an Art journal workshop with Sarah we had lots of fun getting messy and i cant wait for the next workshop. Thank you everyone for the wonderful company. This page is nearly finished still needs a few tweekes here and there
This page is going to be my spring page i need to add my words and again tweek it a bit
I love these birds from stampotique originals This page i painted but havent decided yet what im going to do with it yet..........Thank you Sarah it was a fab workshop and you fitted in fine and i hope you will be running a lot more workshops for us.
I went on an art jornaling workshop run by Sue Roddis at the Cubby Hole in crew we had loads of fun getting messy and i really enjoyed myself even though i am suffering with a cold. This is the first page that we tackled First choose some scrapbooking papers glue them onto the page. then splodge on some paint
next draw a circle where you want the sun/moon. and some simple house shapes. then paint inside these shapes with gesso.
next paint the sun/moon and houses then overstamp and add your words. outline the shapes with charchole and smudge this will make things pop off the page.
Sorry that it's been such a long time since i last blogged. I hope that i still have some followers. I have been so busy and oh so stressed. My darling hubby has had to give up his courier business. and we have been under a lot of pressure financially. anyway enough of the moaning. here are 2 cards that i have made recently. the first was made at a local craft class that i have started attending. it's an unusual folded card but i really enjoyed making this one. all stamps are from Stampin up..
This card was made for a halloween card swap at The Cubby Hole My friend and i recently went to this shop for the first time it is FAB
The house stamp is one i bought from spiral whisper. the skellinton i bought from Blade rubber stamps on a recent trip to London to visit my daughter Karla. The card is fab i bought it about 2 years ago from a local craft shop and have been trying to work out what to use it for then a light bulb went on and here you have it a lovely halloween card. This was a plain whit envelop which i attaced with glimmer mists and a flock of bats stamp
Well as usual i have forgotten yet another Family Birthday It is my neices birthday today and she is a big 4. I thought i would make her a very special card. I saw the tutorial for this on mjm-thearttart.com and i think its fab.
